College Supply List was created in June of 2013 by a Mother and Son team. We realized that when leaving for college in the early 2010’s, there wasn’t a lot of resources for helping parents and college students on moving from life in high school to life in college, and all of the in-betweens. We started by creating some basic lists that would be helpful for everyone. Life and careers got in the way, and we let the website sit for 7 years.
In August of 2020, we found that our content was outdated and only had popularity from ~2013-2015. We completely overhauled the website and started writing more articles than just a basic list to take to college. Moving from 2020 forward, we hope to bring the best recommendations for college products, lists, and everything moving to and being in college.
